Fr. Joseph E. Dorner is currently pastor of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton, Wisconsin.
In 1990, he received his B.A. with a Major in Philosophy and Minors in Church History and Latin from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1994 he received his S.T.B. and then in 1995 his M.A. in Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome Italy.
After being ordained a priest of the Diocese of Green Bay, he served as parochial vicar for four years and since 1999, as pastor at four different assignments. Fr. Dorner has enjoyed continued personal reading and reflections on Sacred Scripture, History, Theology and Philosophy through the years. He has taught classes on and off through the years, not academically but in a more informal and popular manner.
